Ceramic Roll

ALE laser-engraved ceramic anilox roll

Ceramic Roll

A ceramic roll with wear, corrosion, and heat resistance. Engraved by a 500 W ALE fiber laser for deep, smooth cells, it is produced at 30–1,500 lpi, in outer diameters of 25–600 mm and lengths up to 4,000 mm. A cell volume measurement report is provided with every unit.

Applications

Applications

  1. Gravure printing, flexographic printing, lithographic printing
  2. Labels, envelopes, business forms, handbags, corrugated boxes
  3. Films of all kinds, coated paper products, gloss finishing, wallpaper, wood-grain paper and the like
  4. Optical film, release film, secondary battery separators, aluminum foil

Features

Key features

Wear, corrosion, and heat resistance

A long service life that helps reduce costs.

ALE fiber laser engraving

Produces a regular cell shape.

Smooth cell walls and floors

Ink releases quickly and cleaning is easy.

Strong alloy bonding layer

Firmly bonds the ceramic layer to the roll base, effectively preventing corrosive substances in the ink from penetrating the base.

Cell volume measurement report

Provided with every product to guarantee volume accuracy.

Equipment

In-house equipment

Laser engraving equipment

We operate three state-of-the-art ALE fiber laser engravers with a maximum output of 500 watts. They produce deeper, smoother cells than those made on ordinary engravers, which benefits the uniformity of ink transfer.

Plasma spray equipment

A Swiss SULZER three-electrode plasma spray system delivers high coating quality with low porosity, reaching a hardness of 1,300–1,450 HV. After coating, a precision grinding machine improves the accuracy of the roll.

Cell geometry measurement

We use an advanced British tester designed specifically for ceramic rolls, capable of accurately measuring cell volume, size, surface area, depth, cross-sectional angle, and 3D imagery.
