Abrasive blasting and surface treatment
Applications include cleaning metal components, moulds and precision castings, removing rust, oxide scale and burrs, and creating a uniform matte finish or surface texture. We help select a product for the substrate and required finish.
Abrasive tools and precision grinding
White fused alumina can be considered for grinding wheels, cutting wheels, abrasive discs, abrasive paper, belts, cloth and industrial sharpening stones. GHT helps select products for grinding and polishing metal components, tools and moulds.
Refractories
Applications include corundum refractory bricks, castables, ramming mixes, furnace and ladle linings, tundish linings, kiln furniture and refractory aggregates. We consider the heat resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal stability required by the operating environment.
Ceramics and fillers
Applications include raw materials for sintered and insulating ceramics, wear-resistant and protective coatings, flooring fillers and glaze additives. For polishing optical and electronic materials or precision components, we review suitability for the process.
